How to import and pay bills from your Quickbooks Online account

Connect your QBO account and pay all your bills directly in MazumaGo

1) Connecting your Quickbooks Online account with MazumaGo

  1. If you haven't done so before, start by connecting your Quickbooks Online account with your MazumaGo account. Go to the 'Bills' dashboard.
  2. Click 'Get Started' on the banner to connect your accounting software.
  3. Select 'Intuit Quickbooks Online' and sign in to your account in the window that appears.

2) Setting up a MazumaGo account on your Chart of Accounts 

  1. After connecting your QBO account with MazumaGo, you need to add a Chart of Accounts for your MazumaGo bank account in your Quickbooks dashboard.
    Select 'Bookkeeping', then 'Chart of Accounts' from the menu in your QBO account.

  2. Click 'New' to add a new account.
  3. Select the following settings: 
    1. Account Type: Bank
    2. Detail Type: Checking
    3. Name: MazumaGo

Choose when to start tracking finances from this account and enter your account balance.

Click 'Save and Close'.

3) Importing and paying bills

  1. Go to the 'Bills' dashboard on your MazumaGo account and click the 'Pay bills' button
  2. Select your MazumaGo account from the dropdown
  3. You will see a list of all bills imported from your Quickbooks account.
    Select the bills you want to pay from the list. Click 'Next'.
  4. Add the missing information or edit the fields as necessary. You can pay bills partially, by adjusting the 'Amount to pay' field. Click 'Review'.
  5. Review the details and click 'Send payments'.
  6. All done! Your payments are automatically marked as paid in Quickbooks Online.
    You can view your paid bills on your MazumaGo dashboard, as well as your QBO account.
